Privacy Policy

AIM Free Tools processes every file on your own device. When you open a tool and select a photo, PDF, audio file or spreadsheet, the file is read into your browser's memory and processed there by WebAssembly. It is not uploaded, so there is no copy of it on any server of ours to store, share, lose or hand over.

Because file contents never reach us, we hold no file data about you at all. There is no account to create, no upload history, and nothing for us to delete on request — there is nothing there in the first place.

Cookies and local storage: we do not set first-party tracking cookies and we do not operate analytics that profile you across sites. Local storage is used only for practical preferences such as your chosen theme and cached WebAssembly engine files, which is what allows a tool to start instantly the second time you use it.

Third-party advertising: this site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense, and that is a genuine exception to the paragraph above. Google and its partners may set cookies in your browser, and may use them to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. This happens inside the ad frames and is outside our control, but it is real and you should know about it.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, or manage third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. In the EU, the UK and other regions where consent is required, a consent prompt is shown before advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

Legal basis and your rights: because no personal data about you is collected or processed by us, GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and India's DPDP Act impose no processing on our side for you to object to. Where Google acts as an independent controller for advertising, its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy governs that processing and your rights are exercised against Google directly.
